Changing education paradigms- A fantastic clip

Thanks to Lee-Anne for this clip, a great watch, which shows how education has been viewed for some time and also many of the dangers in the way we have set up our classes and structures in the past.  I enjoyed the strong message it sent about how we look at education and how we need to with a view of 21st Century learning. It touched on how we penalise students for being distracted with todays technology when really we should embrace them and use them to our advantage.

Have a look and see what you think !

  2. I love watching these animations - I watched this video a few years ago, but it never gets old and the message takes on fresh meaning when we're looking to actually apply it. Great find, Lee-Anne. Hooray for The Arts! ;)

  3. Here is some interesting reading which gives us something else to think about as we work to create enhanced and effective learning spaces. It is about colour...

  4. I just copied the link, was an interesting read. Who would have thought light green could work that way. I had never really put much thought into colours for best learning - but rather for things looking good.
